Just under two weeks ago I wrote about an odd series of events that suggested Spartan was going to acquire Tough Mudder. Or maybe they weren't. As I said, it was odd. Things got odder still, but long story short, the Tough Mudder founders said they will not contest an involuntary bankruptcy filing petition that some of Tough Mudders vendors had filed. This is progress.
So what's next? According to a joint announcement on Instagram, Joe De Sena and former Tough Mudder CEO Kyle McLaughlin have been working together on a plan. What this plan looks like remains to be seen but Joe seemingly remains committed to keeping Tough Mudder. I'll share more info when it's posted, but in the meantime, head over to OCR Media to read more.
