A strong core is important for obstacle course training. We recently bought paddleboards and I've been enjoying it a lot. I didn't realize how much a strong core helped me stay on the paddleboard until I paddled with people that don't do as much core work. I wanted to have some fun so here's a video of me doing some plank exercises on my paddleboard. It's pretty goofy and my form isn't perfect. I'd love to make more of these, so let me know what you think!
